Lawrence Delevingne is a journalist based in New York City.
He currently writes for The Business Insider, mostly on broad business and finance issues, and especially about white-collar crime and regulation.
Previously, Delevingne wrote for Fortune and BusinessWeek. He has also been published in New York Magazine, Inter Press Service, Diplomatic Courier, City Limits and various daily newspapers.
Prior to journalism, Delevingne worked in communications, specializing in corporate responsibility. He holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism (with honors) and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service (cum laude). At Georgetown, he studied international affairs, focusing on Africa and living in Senegal for a year.
